Trace out the size measured starting in the top left hand corner of paper including the chandelier and beautiful phrase. Cut about 1/8” smaller than the traced lines.
Place cut out face down on table and apply heavy duty adhesive on the entire backside (outside edges are critical) Then adhere to the top side of the cube and wrap around to the next square of cube as shown.
Place the birdcage paper face up on table and turn the cube towards you with the chandelier side facing you. Measure the width and height of top square of cube and trace out size in bottom right hand corner of birdcage paper Cut about 1/8” smaller than the traced lines. Place cut out face down on table and apply heavy duty adhesive on the entire backside (outside edges are critical) Then apply to the top side of the cube as shown.
With the birdcage square still visible on the top side, rotate cube clockwise, and measure the next blank cube side facing you. Trace out measured size in the top left hand corner of the “DAYS” with butterfly image paper. Cut about 1/8” smaller than the traced lines. Place cut out face down on table and apply heavy duty adhesive on the entire backside (outside edges are critical) Then apply to the side of the cube as shown– be sure that paper will not read upside down.
Continue to rotate cube clockwise and measure the remaining blank side. Trace out measured size in the bottom right hand corner of the “DAYS” with butterfly image paper. Cut about 1/8” smaller than the traced lines. Place cut out face down on table and apply heavy duty adhesive on the entire backside (outside edges are critical) Then apply to the side of the cube as shown below – be sure that paper is not reading upside down.
Measure the bottom side of cube. Using the remaining the pink/yellow polka dot paper from step 2 trace out measured size in one of the bottom corners. Cut out about 1/8” smaller then traced lines. Place cut out face down on table and apply heavy duty adhesive on the entire backside (outside edges are critical) Then apply to the bottom side of the cube as shown.
Cut out the outline of the little boy. Apply heavy duty adhesive to the backside and adhere to the DAY side lining up with the right and bottom sides of square as shown.
Push out the crown from the glitter Princesca tags page. Push out the inner tabs of the crown and then cut off the bottom round curve of crown. Apply heavy duty adhesive or hot glue to the backside and adhere on top of the little boys head as shown below – the tops of crown will overhang the edge.
Place rectangular Princesca glitter tag face up on table horizontally with the punched out hole to the right side. Cut out “Lucky” rub-on from package. Place the rub-on (backside facing tag), in the center of tag without the back tissue paper as shown. Hold rub-on in place to make sure it does not move. Using the stick provided, apply pressure to top of rub-on and move back and forth. Lift up one corner to check if rub-on is transferring, repeat as many times needed until rub-on is completely affixed to paper.
Cut a piece of pink chelsea ribbon about 6 inches long. Pull ribbon through the metal spoon then through the opening of Lucky tag? tag should be in front of spoon ?Once spoon and tag are on ribbon tie it in a knot to secure.
Apply hot glue to the back of the tag and top handle of spoon – be careful as metal will be very hot ?Adhere tag and spoon to the left of boy starting in the top left hand corner ?Put a small amount of hot glue behind bottom part of spoon to keep from sliding around.
TECHNIQUE: MEMORY GLASS ?Grab two pieces of memory glass from package. Place one piece of memory glass on top of desired piece of scrap paper listed from step 1. Using a pen or pencil trace around piece of memory glass. Cut out traced rectangle and set aside.
Use a small picture to include on paper . Apply ATG to the backside of picture and adhere on to cut out from Step 13. Once picture is adhered run Tombo adhesive along the front side of paper and stick one piece of memory glass to the paper Repeat step to attach second piece of memory glass to the back side of paper.
Now that both pieces of memory glass are affixed to the front and back, start from the bottom edge and stick the Silver tape to the edge of memory glass letting it overhang evenly as shown to the right. Once tape is along the side, run your index finger back over the tape to make sure the tapes is affixed to the side. Continue to repeat on the remaining three sides keeping it all one continuous piece of tape. When you get to the end let the tape slightly overlap the starting point then trim tape.
Lay memory glass face up on table. Using either the popsicle stick from rub-on package or a bone folder, push the corners in Starting on one side fold the overlapped edge onto the front side of glass and then run back over with the popsicle stick or bone folder as shown– continue to rub over tape until it is completely smooth. Repeat process for remaining three sides and backside of memory glass.
Make a small bow out of the thin pink ribbon from the Glittter princesca tags for the top of the memory glass and trim tail. Hot glue the bow to the top front of memory glass. Hot glue Fleur de Leis Princesca glitter to the top right hand corner of the birdcage side of cube as shown. Once tag is affixed, adhere Memory glass piece on top of tag at angle with hot glue as shown.
Place pink with yellow polka dot paper face up on table. Trace and measure out a strip along the bottom of paper to be 1-1/2 x 8 inches as shown.
Lay the two square Princesca glitter tags on the table as shown in image below Lay the strip cut from step 18 horizontally across table, begin your first fold about 2” from the right – paper will be folded all the way over now with the green polka dot side facing up. Now match the same size square from before and fold paper back over to the left now with the pink/yellow polka dot side facing. Continue to repeat the back forth folds to create an accordion fold – should end with the green side facing up and a little bit smaller.
Apply heavy duty adhesive gun to the back of the first fold made on the accordion strip. Adhere to the front glitter side of larger scroll Princesca tag lining the edges on the left. Then repeat process for the front allowing the glitter side to face forward – this should create a small book as shown.
Cut a piece of the thin pink ribbon from Step 17 long enough to pull through the two openings on the book and tie a bow. Apply heavy duty adhesive gun to the back side of book (larger side). Adhere to the center of butterfly with tape measure side of cube at angle as shown below. Then attach small metal clip to the side to keep book from opening up on the left side.
Apply heavy duty adhesive gun to the back of the picture with kid and umbrella from the Vintage Finding Memories kit ?Adhere to the Beautiful side of cube along the bottom, centered left to right as shown.
Place gold oval frame from Vintage Finding Memories kit on top of a small photo. Trace the outline of gold oval as shown below onto the picture. Using scissor cut a little smaller then traced lines – enough paper to stick behind opening. Apply heavy duty adhesive gun to the back of little girl cut and stick in the center of top right corner of cube side as shown.
TECHNIQUE: GLOSSY ACCENTS ? Apply heavy duty adhesive gun to the back of gold oval frame and adhere on top of little girl picture on cube. Using the glossy accents start on the outer rims of little girl picture and work your way into the center applying an even but thick coat as shown– be careful to not touch and let dry overnight and it will dry clear even though may appear foggy when applied (Glossy Accents is self leveling and will dry evenly) – refer to final image for finished display.
