Lay Cranberry flocked paper face down on table. Open the sketchbook and lay on top of paper towards the top left corner leaving an 1 inch all the around. Trace an inch all the way around sketchbook and cut paper. Apply ATG heavily on front, spine, and back of journal (note: flocked paper is a little bit heavier so more ATG is necessary in order for paper to stick properly). Firmly affix piece of Cranberry paper to journal leaving enough space around to wrap around to inside of book – don’t attach excess flaps yet.

Lay journal spine facing upward. Using scissors cut in towards the spine on either side to make a flap to cut off as shown below.

Open the journal and cut corners at an angle as shown below. Apply ATG to exposed side of excess paper. Affix flaps to the inside of front and back cover to finish wrapping the journal.

Pull out green paper with trumpeting angel from Gypsy Market Scrap Pack. Measure and trim paper to about: 1/3 width of front cover x the total of the height of journal (ensure the angel is on the piece that is cut). Apply ATG to backside of green angel paper and affix to front cover of journal left side aligning with indent of spine as shown below.

Cut a piece of the gaffer tape long enough to wrap around front of cover vertically. The tape already has adhesive on the back, but to ensure it sticks to the flocked paper run an additional strip of ATG to the back. Line the right side of the green trumpeting angel paper with the gaffer tape and fold the excess towards the inside of cover as shown below.

Pull out two pieces of the brown modeled paper from Gypsy Market Scrap Pack-refer to image below (good friends will not be on paper). Measure and trim both pieces about ½” smaller than the height of inside of journal and about ¼” smaller the width of the inside of journal. Apply ATG to backside of both pieces of paper and affix to inside front & back cover of journal.
