Tear an 8” x 10” piece of the Seashell printed paper so that the torn white edge of the printed paper is showing. |

Apply the gold and copper inks to the edges of the torn paper and rub the pads gently over the printed shells as well. When satisfied with the color medley created, spray water over the surface then crinkle it into a ball, unfold and flatten. Allow to dry. |

Using the small paintbrush with water, mark off a 7” x 12” piece of the Sand Raindrop paper. Align your ruler with the marked edge and carefully tear the paper so that the torn edge is showing. Apply copper ink to torn edges. |

|
Apply quote rub-on to photo then add turquoise and gold inks to the edges of the photo. |

When the gesso has dried completely on the canvas, mix the cobalt blue, light green and titanium white paints to make a color that closely resembles the blue-green of the printed shell paper. Apply to canvas. When this color is nearly dry, add a little white on a clean foam brush to create highlights. If it appears too bright, use a paper towel or another foam brush to remove some of the white paint. Allow canvas to dry completely. |
